Drosera fulva is a member of the Petiolaris Complex and native to the Norther Territory and Queensland Australia. Over time, the rosette of a mature plant can raise off the ground as dead leaves accumulate around its base. The name fulva refers to the Latin word “fulvus” which means yellow-reddish, in reference to the leaf color. D. fulva was first collected by John W. Armstrong between 1838 and 1840.
